Cornbread & Lodge Logic

Any man who cooks over open flame entrusts a cast iron skillet or dutch oven. I’m willing to wager that if you flip your items over, they are branded Lodge Logic. These folks have been forging their seasoned non-stick cookware since the 1890’s in a hollowed-out sleepy ‘lil town that rests in the Appalachian region of Tennessee. I bought a new cornbread skillet to add to my growing collection of kitchen gadgetry. When you’re next headed through the mountains of Tennessee, swing in to South Pittsburg. Until then, you’ll have to settle for http://www.lodgemfg.com/

I am a HUGE fan of Lodge Logic. I always take a couple pieces when I go camping and have several around the kitchen. Great stuff and so cheap!

You really can't go wrong with them. I've abused my camping skillet and let it rust. All they need is some oil/salt mixture rubbed on them and good as new.. nonstick and everything.

PS - great 4th of July photos. Those are something else!
