My portrayal of Maine conjures up images of slow moving and sleepy rural towns unaffected after 50 years, coastal communities lined with docked sail boats, family businesses run by generations of locals, big rigs loaded with freshly cut logs streaming down unpaved roads, the smell of overturned dirt, potato blossoms and thousands of lakes that when come dusk are nothing more than a reflection of tree-lined shores.
Knife edge, a 2-4 foot wide walkway and the most famous route to summit Mt. Katahdin. Claiming 19 lives since 1963, each side drops thousands of feet.
Amazing fly reel shot.
